No Problem! Even if you do not have a CD Mastering program, we can create a CD master
for you from your data. Just follow these simple steps:
1.) Prepare your data, in a folder on your computer, just as you would like it to
appear on the CD
2.) Next, zip the folder using a compression program. (a windows zipping program
is available at
www.winzip.com - a Macintosh compatible program is available at www.stuffit.com).
Be sure to set your compression program to maintain the directory structure (this
is the default in most programs).
3.) The last step is to transfer the files to us.
When sending artwork or other files via the internet, just follow these steps:
1.) Prepare your data in a folder on your computer. For artwork, please include
all necessary linked files and fonts.
2.) Next, zip the folder using a compression program. (a windows zipping program
is available at www.winzip.com
- a Macintosh compatible program is available at www.stuffit.com). Be sure to set your compression program
to maintain the directory structure (this is the default in most programs).
3.) The last step is to transfer the files to us.
e-Disk is a simple Windows based utility used for the quality control and
electronic transfer of your master diskettes from your home or office to our duplication
facility.
The e-Disk program will read your master diskette, including Volume Name, data,
format, and even empty space. All of this information is stored in a single file
with the name of your choice (up to 8 characters), and a three letter file extension
based on the capacity of the disk (.720, .144, etc.). This program will work with
all DOS sizes and densities, as well as 3.5" high density Macintosh diskettes. This
program does not work with 800K low density Macintosh diskettes.
As the utility reads the diskette, it generates a checksum number. This checksum
number is used by Diskcopy to ensure that the archive was sent to us correctly.
It can also be used to double-check the duplicated software that you receive from
Diskcopy. After you run the e-Disk Utility, you may zip the file using a compression
utility (a windows zipping program is available at www.winzip.com
- a Macintosh program is available at
www.stuffit.com
, and [transfer] it to us over the internet - please be sure to include the checksum
number. After receiving your file, we will expand the archive, virus scan and data
test it. Once tested, the file is sent to our duplication network, and the checksum
is verified.
